Time:2022-02-23

At 15:01 on December 31, 2021, the 7.6MW distributed photovoltaic project of Beijing Energy International in Yanjing Brewery in Shunyi District, Beijing, was successfully connected to the grid for power generation at full capacity. The project covers 4 sites of Yanjing Brewery, with a total of 7 factories and 26 outlets. The estimated annual average power generation is about 8.219 million kWh after grid connection.

Relying on big data and cloud platform, the project adopts unattended mode for operation and maintenance management and carries out real-time monitoring and analysis on operation data of each equipment, so as to ensure safe, efficient and stable operation, and meet users’ demands of understanding operation status on a real-time basis.

Since the project kicked on December 1, it has overcome multiple challenges, such as short time limit for construction, tight supply of equipment, scattered project construction sites causing control and coordination difficulties. The company actively adjusted construction organization design, optimized construction methods, and finally realized grid-connected power generation according to schedule.

The project is a model of local SOEs serving the capital city, and it is also a critical achievement of Beijing Energy International in promoting new energy and integrated energy business in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. After it is put into operation, it will help Yanjing Group use clean and green energy, achieve low-carbon development, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 455 tons every year, and save electricity costs by about 1.07 million yuan. It can deliver tangible energy-saving, environmental and social benefits, and is a solid step for Yanjing Group to achieve its dual carbon goal.
