Baoshan Energy Development Enters a New Stage

On April 22, 2023, Baoshan Energy Development Co., Ltd. successfully held the general meeting of shareholders and the board meeting in Baoshan City, elected the new board members and hired new management team. This is a key milestone for Beijing Energy International to join hands with local energy companies in cultivating the clean energy market in Yunnan Province around its strategic development path of “One Center, Two Loop Lines and One Focus”, marking the smooth acquisition and handover of Baoshan Energy Development by Beijing Energy International.





A symposium was held afterwards with the attendance of senior management and the heads of business departments of Baoshan Energy Development. Participants exchanged ideas on the company’s development, safety production, operation and management, organizational structure and corporate culture.

Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, said that Baoshan Energy Development has a resilient team and a new management in place. He hoped that the management team can make concerted efforts in adapting to the new development stage and coping with new challenges. He believed that the company will embrace a promising future. On the key work of Baoshan Energy Development, Zhang Ping emphasized the following points:

First, strengthen the construction of team and corporate culture. Concerted efforts should be made in all aspects of the company’s development. Communications and cultural integration should be strengthened to build a “fair and just, diversified, virtuous and positive” corporate culture. The management should play an exemplarily leading role in this regard.

Second, adopt a development-centric approach. It is necessary to foster a development-centric approach, be result-driven and problem-solving, and the development and management improvement shall be carried out simultaneously so that employees can enjoy the benefits and achievements of the company’s development.

Third, improve safety production management. The management should delve into the grass-root work in a pragmatic way, comprehensively understand and review each power station, identify problems, strengthen benchmarking with competitors, and make every effort to bolster power generation.

Fourth, promote the overall management improvement. It is necessary to constantly optimize and improve management standards and work processes and strengthen system construction and implementation, improve the organizational structure, strengthen training and employee’s career planning.

Fifth, uphold integrity as a key ethic. Adapt the behaviors within the red lines. Conduct business with the highest ethical and professional standards, use system and policies to promote compliant operation in accordance with laws and regulations to achieve the benign development of the company.
