On July 26, 2023, Beijing Energy International’s 2.74MW distributed PV project in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (Tongzhou) was registered.

The project is located in Jinqiao Science and Technology Industrial Base of Tongzhou Park, Zhongguancun Science Park (ZSP), BETDA (Tongzhou), with a total installed capacity of about 2.74MW. The project can supply electricity for its self-use, with the surplus connecting to the grid. It is expected to start construction in October 2023 and be connected to the grid for power generation at the end of the year. After it is put into operation, it can produce about 2.91 million kWh of green electricity every year, save 894 tons of standard coal and reduce about 2,796 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will promote the low-carbon energy transformation of the park.
