On November 30, 2023, Beijing Energy International was invited to attend the inaugural meeting and cooperation signing ceremony of the Hohhot New Energy “1+2+N” Industrial Chain Ecological Alliance. 

At the collective signing ceremony, Wu Chaoke, vice president of Beijing Energy International, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Inner Mongolia Power (Group) Co., Ltd. (IMPC) and Inner Mongolia Energy Group (IME) on behalf of the company. According to the agreement, all parties will give full play to their respective advantages, effectively promote in-depth cooperation, and contribute to the high-quality development of local new energy industry.

The “1+2+N” industrial chain alliance includes two local state-owned enterprises, including the Hohhot Municipal Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, IMPC and IME, as well as 18 alliance enterprises. Among them, Beijing Energy International is the only energy investment enterprise outside Inner Mongolia.

The conference was co-sponsored by the Hohhot Municipal Committee and the Hohhot Municipal Government and undertaken by the Hohhot Municipal Development and Reform Commission, aiming to promote the optimization and upgrading of local industrial structure, and to accelerate the construction of nationally important energy and strategic resource bases. Bao Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and secretary of the Hohhot Municipal Party Committee, He Haidong, deputy secretary of the Hohhot Municipal Party Committee and mayor, Yu Haiyu, secretary of the Party Group and director general of the Energy Bureau of Inner Mongolia; Yan Hongguang, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of IMPC and Zhang Haifeng, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of IME, attended and witnessed the signing.
