Zhu Jun, President of Beijing Energy International, Met with Luo Guangyi, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangxi Electric Power Design and Research Institute

On October 8, 2021, Zhu Jun, President of Beijing Energy International visited Luo Guangyi, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangxi Electric Power Design and Research Institute (“Guangxi Institute”) of China Energy Engineering Corporation in Nanning, and the two sides exchanged views on strengthening strategic cooperation in new energy. Tian Mingjun, deputy general manager of Guangxi Institute, Wei Bin, deputy general manager, Pang Tao, GM assistant, Hou Zhiguo, general manager of Beijing Energy International South China Branch and other related personnel attended the meeting.






Luo Guangyi welcomed the visit of Zhu Jun and his delegation and introduced the Guangxi Institute and the development of its new energy business. He pointed out that Guangxi Institute was a strong player and had a wide range of business lines, with integration and complementarity of hydropower, thermal power and power grid related business, which were located in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region that had abundant resources and broad development prospects. He expressed the hope that the two sides would jointly explore the cooperation mode in market development, construction and operation, galvanize the resource advantages in their respective fields, seize the window opportunity of the dual carbon goal and boost innovative development.

Zhu Jun introduced the company’s development objectives, institutional advantages and its operation in Guangxi. He said that Jingneng International, as a red chip company listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange, was amid a rapid and high-quality development phase, and that the two sides were highly aligned in new energy investment and construction. He hoped that both sides would further explore deep cooperation, leverage their respective advantages, including branding and market advantages, to establish a long-term strategic partnership, attain substantial results in new energy, achieve the dual carbon goal at an early date and create a win-win outcome.
