On December 31, 2022, Beijing Energy International’s Lianjiang 300MW Centralized Photovoltaic Power Generation Project and Gaoqiao 150MW Centralized Photovoltaic Power Generation Project obtained the approval from the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau and were registered for record-keeping. The two projects are the first batch of centralized photovoltaic power generation projects independently developed by Beijing Energy International in Guangdong Province, representing a breakthrough achievement of the company in independently developing new energy project in Guangdong.

The two projects are located in Lianjiang City, with a total installed capacity of 450MW. After it is put into operation, it will predictably generate about 576 million kWh of clean and green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 230,000 tons of standard coal and reducing about 580,000 tons of carbon dioxide. It will further promote the development of regional economy and environmental protection, substantially contributing to the transformation and upgrading of local energy structure.
