On March 20, 2023, Beijing Energy International held talks with the Banner Committee and the Banner Government of Horqin Zuoyi Houqi Banner in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

During the meeting, the two sides reached a consensus on promoting the construction of Xintong 1-million-kw wind power project in Horqin Zuoyi Houqi Banner Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, strengthening communication mechanisms, and accelerating the implementation of the project according to the project timeline with milestones. Next step, the two sides will further deepen cooperation in a pragmatic manner, jointly cultivate and develop the new energy industry chain and achieve more fruitful results by complementing each other’s advantages for win-win outcome, create  regional social and economic benefits and contribute to the early realization of the national dual carbon goal.

Guo Tianbao, deputy secretary of the Banner Committee and magistrate, Bao Xueliang, director of Government Office, Han Fengfei, director of Investment Promotion Bureau, and Zheng Liangcai, director of Key Projects Office; Fan Liyun, engineering director, Hu Yong, general manager of Engineering Management Department and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
