BJ ENERGY INTL Successfully Issued Phase-II Panda Bond

On October 20, 2023, the phase-II panda bond of Beijing Energy International was successfully issued at National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII), raising a total of 1.5 billion yuan, with a term of 2+N years and a coupon rate of 3.77%, and the subscription ratio is 1.8 times. The lead underwriter is China Merchants Securities, and the joint lead underwriters are Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of China, China Merchants Bank, China Securities and Bank of Beijing.

This issuance is another success of using its own credit position to issue bonds after the company made its debut in the domestic bond market in September. The funds raised from this issuance will be primarily used to repay overseas loans.
