On May 20, the 2.515MW distributed photovoltaic (PV) project in Guichuan, Yanqing District, Beijing, successfully obtained registration approval from the Yanqing District Development and Reform Commission. This milestone marks another key step forward for Beijing Energy International in advancing green energy development in the capital, embodying the company’s core development philosophy of “rooted in Beijing, serving the capital,” and laying a solid foundation for achieving green, low-carbon, and sustainable development goals.
The project, with a planned total capacity of 2.515MW, is located across multiple towns, and will operate under a full grid-connection model. Once operational, the project is expected to generate nearly 3.13 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually—equivalent to saving about 945 tons of standard coal and cutting carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 2,745 tons. It will further support the capital’s energy transition and contribute to the early realization of Beijing’s dual carbon goals.
