On May 28, the successful full-capacity grid connection of Beijing Energy International’s 100MW Zhuolang Wind Power Project in Qian’an County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province was officially marked by the illumination of the grid-connection indicator light in the main control room—signaling another step forward in accelerating green energy development.
Located approximately 6 km south of Qian’an County in Songyuan, the project has a total installed capacity of 100 MW, consisting of 15 wind turbines each rated at 6.66 MW. The project is expected to achieve 2,900 equivalent full-load hours annually. Once operational, it will generate about 300 MWh of green electricity per year, equivalent to saving about 96,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 300,000 tons. With significant environmental and social benefits, the project will further support the optimization of the local energy structure and serve as a “new engine” for promoting regional green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.
