BJ ENERGY INTL Holds Talks with the CPC Da’an Municipal Committee and Da’an Municipal Government
On December 5, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Da’an, Jilin Province, where they met with Liu Hong, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Baicheng Municipal Congress and Party Secretary of the CPC Da’an Municipal Committee, as well as Su Miao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Da’an Municipal Committee and Mayor of Da’an. The two sides held discussions on matters related to promoting the commencement of the supporting thermal power project for the “Transmitting Jilin’s Electricity to Beijing” (in Da’an, Baicheng).
Liu Hong extended a warm welcome to Zhang Ping and his delegation. He noted that the “Transmitting Jilin’s Electricity to Beijing” project is a key initiative in the national 14th Five-Year Plan for electricity development. Promoting the early commencement of the project is a political responsibility and mission that the Municipal Committee and Municipal Government must firmly uphold. He expressed hope that all parties would maintain effective coordination and proactive communication, working together to improve the preparatory work to ensure a strong foundation for smooth project implementation. He emphasized the need to explore innovative pathways for new-energy development, leverage local resource advantages, and promote the comprehensive development and utilization of clean energy. This includes building integrated development models such as “agriculture-solar complementarity,” “pasture-solar complementarity,” “fishery-solar complementarity,” and multi-energy complementary systems, so as to transform resource potential into industrial strengths and development momentum. Relevant departments should strengthen full-cycle project tracking and service guarantees, focus on key areas, and work collaboratively to resolve potential bottlenecks and challenges to ensure efficient implementation and early production.
During the discussion, Zhang Ping stated that Beijing Energy International will work in alignment and synergy with the Da’an Municipal Committee and Government to fully promote the project’s early start and rapid construction. He emphasized adhering to quality-first and safety-first principles, maintaining strict control over project safety and quality, and advancing implementation with high standards and high efficiency to ensure early completion, commissioning, and effectiveness, thereby injecting strong momentum into high-quality regional development.
Vice Mayors Guan Lisong and Pang Zhanhui, along with responsible officials from relevant departments, townships, and enterprises, attended the meeting. Wu Chaoke, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, also participated.
