On December 23, 2021, Wang Liuhu, vice president of Beijing Energy International visited Wang Jun, deputy secretary of the county party committee and acting county magistrate in Duolun County, Xilingol Prefecture, Inner Mongolia, and had in-depth exchanges on promoting the project of wind-PV hydrogen storage and green ammonia production. Sun Huiwen, member of the Standing Committee of Duolun County Committee, deputy county magistrate, Ding Han, deputy county magistrate, head of relevant departments, Liu Lei, general manager of North Branch and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Wang Jun welcomed the visit of Wang Liuhu and his delegation, and briefed the profile of Duolun County, local chemical industry park, development plan and industrial capacity. He said that Duolun County enjoyed good geographical and resource advantages, the project under discussion was an important starting line for fully translating carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals into reality and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality development. He hoped that both sides would take this meeting as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and cooperation, take an anticipatory approach, optimize the project planning and design and jointly achieve win-win results.

Wang Liuhu introduced the current operation, development plan, overall situation and vision of Beijing Energy International. He said that Duolun County had unique advantages in water resources and industrial capacity, and there was broad space for cooperation in new energy investment and construction. It is hoped that both sides will further strengthen communication, accelerate the landing of cooperation projects, complement each other’s strengths and seek common development.
