Time:2022-06-06

On June 2, 2022, Beijing Energy International signed an integrated energy cooperation agreement with Fengjiayu Township Government in Miyun District, Beijing. This is another town-wide integrated energy project signed by the company in Beijing under the tenet of “local enterprise serving the capital city”, increasing local investment and adopting the town-wide development mode.

Going forward, the company will carry out the investment and operation of distributed photovoltaic, tailings treatment, clean cold, heat and power supply, energy-saving services, agricultural solar lighting and carbon sink trading in the whole town. The company will use the rooftops of public buildings of government organs, schools, hospitals, village committees, industrial and commercial buildings, and rural residential buildings to install distributed photovoltaic power generation systems. It will make comprehensive use of the disused tailings sites, build a centralized photovoltaic power station on the ground, and green the exposed mining area to revitalize idle assets. It will utilize generic agricultural land to mount efficient agricultural facilities and build an industrial project integrating science, technology, agriculture and smart energy. The total investment of the project is about 600 million yuan.

After the project is completed, it will further promote the transformation and upgrading of local energy structure, optimize and restructure its economic structure as well as the integration and development of local industries, and help Beijing achieve the major strategic goals of carbon peaking, carbon neutrality and rural revitalization at an earlier date.

Fengjiayu Township has convenient transportation, full-fledged infrastructure, and abundant available land resources, tailings sites, rooftop resources, solar energy, geothermal and tourism resources to offer. Its power grid is complete, with good power consumption and transmission capacity and outstanding locational advantages.
