Time:2022-12-24

At 15: 08 on December 24, 2022, the first unit of Beijing Energy International’s Qingshuihe Phase-IV 50MW Photovoltaic Expansion Project was successfully connected to the power grid as scheduled. This project is the first centralized grid-connected new energy project in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia in 2022.

The project is located in Qingshuihe County, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a planned area of more than 2,000 mu (around 133 hectares), an approved capacity of 50MW and it has a planned 7.5MW/15MWh energy storage power station. The construction kicked off on September 20, 2022, and it took 96 days to complete the first phase of grid connection, creating the highest-speed record of Beijing Energy International to start construction and operation within just one year. After the project is put into operation at full capacity, over 100 million kWh of green electricity can be added every year, and about 32,000 tons of standard coal can be saved, creating remarkable social, environmental and economic benefits, and further helps the economic development and energy structure transformation and upgrading of Inner Mongolia.
