On August 28, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Shanghai to meet with Chen Guoliang, Board Director of CHINT Group, President of CHINT Electric, and Chairman of CHINT Power. The two sides held in-depth discussions on multi-field cooperation and signed a cooperation framework agreement. 

Chen Guoliang welcomed Zhang Ping and his delegation, and presented CHINT Group’s development strategy, business performance, and core strengths. He emphasized that CHINT remains firmly committed to green, low-carbon, globalized, and high-quality development. Having been deeply engaged in low-voltage electrical equipment for many years, the company is now accelerating its presence in the new energy sector, seizing opportunities in the global energy transition, and deeply integrating into the international new energy industry chain. By building an integrated ecosystem covering “power generation, storage, transmission, transformation, distribution, sales, and usage,” CHINT has created a full-industry-chain development model. With clear complementarities between the two companies, he expressed the hope of strengthening communication, leveraging respective resources, focusing on clean energy and related fields, and jointly exploring opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Zhang Ping expressed his appreciation for CHINT’s long-standing trust and support for Beijing Energy International. He noted that as a leading enterprise in China’s power equipment manufacturing industry, CHINT enjoys distinct locational and professional advantages, has achieved remarkable results in low-voltage electrical equipment, and has accumulated extensive experience in new energy development and construction. Meanwhile, Beijing Energy International benefits from a flexible and efficient corporate mechanism, strong investment capabilities, and outstanding expertise in new energy development. With both parties sharing a highly aligned vision of green development, there is broad potential for cooperation. He expressed the hope that this dialogue would serve as a foundation to establish a strong partnership, further tap into collaborative potential, deepen resource complementarity, broaden cooperation channels, and innovate models to jointly advance high-quality development of the energy industry.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties signed a cooperation framework agreement. Under the agreement, both sides will fully leverage their respective strengths to carry out long-term, comprehensive, and in-depth collaboration in clean energy and related fields, building a sustainable, win–win partnership.
