On December 18, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Baoshan, Yunnan, where they met with leaders of the Government of Baoshan City. The two sides held discussions on matters concerning the diversification of ownership reform and potential listing of Baoshan Energy Development Corporation.

At the meeting, Zhang Ping expressed his appreciation for the long-standing trust and support extended by the Baoshan municipal government to Beijing Energy International, and provided a detailed overview of the company’s current development strategy and core business layout. He noted that the company will continue to deepen its presence in Baoshan and hopes the municipal government will maintain strong support. By leveraging digital empowerment and resource empowerment, the company aims to support the development of Baoshan Energy Development Corporation during the 15^th Five-Year Plan period, building it into a demonstration and benchmark enterprise. Zhang expressed the expectation that, through joint efforts, the two sides will advance cooperation on ownership diversification reform at an early date, helping Baoshan Energy Development Corporation expand beyond Baoshan and Yunnan, and successfully achieve its listing goals during the 15^th Five-Year Plan period.

Leaders of the Baoshan municipal government welcomed Zhang Ping and his delegation, and spoke highly of the sustained growth in total assets and total profits of Baoshan Energy Development Corporation since Beijing Energy International’s participation. They fully affirmed the phased achievements made in areas such as the issuance of REITs projects and the construction of new energy projects. The municipal government emphasized that Baoshan Energy Development Corporation is not only a holding subsidiary of Beijing Energy International, but also a municipal state-owned enterprise of Baoshan. Going forward, Baoshan will continue to deepen strategic cooperation with Beijing Energy International, inject high-quality assets into Baoshan Energy Development Corporation, and support its growth and strengthening, making every effort to facilitate the realization of ownership diversification reform and the company’s listing objectives.

Officials from relevant departments of the Baoshan municipal government attended the meeting, along with Jia Geng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International; Zhang Pengyuan, General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department; Party Secretary Xiao Yong and General Manager Wan Zipeng of Baoshan Energy Development Corporation; and other related personnel.
