On January 15, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, along with Executive President Zhu Jun, visited Shanghai to meet with Qiao Yinping, COO of Shanghai Electric Group， Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group (SEWPG), as well as Wu Gai, Party Committee Member and Vice President of SEWPG. The two parties held in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation in the new energy sector and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. 

During the meeting, both sides shared insights into their respective regional advantages, business portfolios, and industrial layouts. They conducted a comprehensive review of their successful track record of past cooperation and engaged in profound discussions on industry trends and untapped partnership potential. Both parties reached a consensus that as industry leaders with extensive expertise, they share highly aligned development philosophies and a solid foundation for partnership. Moving forward, the two sides will further enhance communication and leverage their respective strengths in resources, talent, and technology. By focusing on the new energy sector, they aim to carry out multi-dimensional, pragmatic cooperation, establishing a powerful alliance to drive mutual success and support the high-quality advancement of the national energy transition. 

The meeting concluded with the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, both sides will fully utilize their respective advantages to engage in comprehensive collaboration across onshore, offshore, and overseas wind power, as well as photovoltaics and energy storage, with the goal of building a sustainable and strategic partnership.

The meeting was also attended by Ma Wenyong, Deputy Chief Engineer of SEWPG and General Manager of its Marketing Center; Lu Yang, Deputy General Manager of Zhiheng New Energy; Hao Baoquan, Director of the Key Accounts Department of the Marketing Center of SEWPG; Participants from Beijing Energy International included Zhang Pengyuan, General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department; Du Wenyuan, General Manager of East China Branch; and Xiao Yong, Party Secretary of Baoshan Energy Development Corporation, along with other relevant personnel.
