On February 2, Beijing Energy International’s Minzhu 100 MW, Laochang 100 MW, and Mayi 100 MW wind power projects in Panzhou City, Liupanshui, Guizhou Province, all received official approval. This marks a significant phased achievement for the company in Guizhou’s new energy sector, representing a major breakthrough in its provincial business layout and marking a significant milestone.

All three projects are part of the 1 GW Panzhou wind power cluster for which the company has secured construction quotas. Their combined installed capacity totals 300 MW. Upon commissioning, the projects are expected to deliver approximately 573 million kWh of green electricity annually, save 177,600 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 472,400 tons annually. These outcomes will further optimize the local energy structure, drive green economic development in the region, and provide strong momentum toward achieving Guizhou’s dual carbon goals.
