On March 16, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Zuo Guang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Baoshan Municipal Committee and Mayor of Baoshan, Yunnan, and his delegation. The two sides held discussions on further deepening cooperation in areas such as clean energy and capital operations.

During the meeting, Zhang Ping extended a warm welcome to Zuo Guang and his delegation and expressed sincere appreciation for Baoshan’s long-standing trust and support, and provided an overview of the company’s business development and future plans. He noted that Baoshan boasts unique location advantages and rich ecological resources, making it a key area in the company’s clean energy development. Going forward, the company will leverage its strengths, align closely with local development needs and the characteristics of the regional energy mix, focus on advancing clean energy project development, and accelerate project implementation to further enhance the scale and competitiveness of Baoshan Energy Development Co., Ltd. These efforts will help promote the optimization and upgrading of the local energy structure and provide strong support for high-quality economic and social development in the region.

Zuo Guang lauded the steady achievements in clean energy marked by the company since deepening its footprint in Baoshan, and outlined the city’s current industrial landscape and development strengths. He pointed out that Baoshan is endowed with abundant clean energy resources and holds significant development potential, and that the two sides are highly aligned in their development visions, with a solid foundation and broad prospects for cooperation. He expressed the hope that both sides will continue to deepen and expand practical cooperation in clean energy and other related fields. The Baoshan Municipal Government will make every effort to foster a stable, transparent, and efficient investment environment, provide high-quality services and support, and create favorable conditions for enterprise development, working together to write a new chapter of mutually beneficial government–enterprise cooperation.
