On March 26, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Jinan, Shandong, where they met with Li Wei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Energy Group (SDE). The two sides held in-depth discussions on further strengthening cooperation.

At the meeting, Li Wei extended a warm welcome to Zhang Ping and his delegation. He noted that Beijing Energy International, as a key international and market-oriented clean energy investment platform under Beijing Energy Holding, has demonstrated strong growth momentum and achieved outstanding results. The two companies enjoy a high degree of industrial complementarity and share broad prospects for cooperation centered on their core businesses. He expressed the hope that both sides would fully leverage their respective strengths, establish dedicated working teams to ensure efficient communication, expand cooperation into broader fields, promote resource sharing, step up efforts in both conventional and new energy development, and accelerate the implementation of cooperative projects, so as to achieve complementary advantages and win-win outcomes.

Zhang Ping stated that SDE, as a leading backbone enterprise in the energy sector, possesses strong core business advantages, a well-structured industrial layout, and has been at the forefront of high-quality and international development within the industry. He expressed the hope that both sides would continue to maintain their sound partnership, further enhance communication and coordination, and establish a comprehensive, multi-level cooperation mechanism. He proposed deepening collaboration in areas including resource development, power generation, new energy development and utilization, as well as coal supply support for green electricity transmission bases to Beijing, thereby jointly advancing green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

The meeting was also attended by Ru Gang, a member of the leadership of SDE, along with relevant department heads; Huang Hui, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, Wang Yang, Chief Financial Officer, Hou Jinghui, Assistant to the President, Zhang Pengyuan, General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department, and other personnel.
