On May 14, Liu Guoxi, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Labor Union of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Jia Fayang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Bazhong Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Bazhong, Sichuan Province. The two sides held in-depth discussions on advancing comprehensive cooperation in the green energy sector.
During the meeting, Liu Guoxi welcomed Jia Fayang and his entourage, and provided an overview of the company’s overall business portfolio and development plans. He noted that Bazhong boasts excellent ecological advantages and abundant clean energy resources, making it one of the company’s key investment destinations in Sichuan. He expressed the hope that the meeting would serve as an opportunity to establish a long-term and regular communication mechanism, deepen cooperation in areas such as new energy and integrated energy services, and accelerate the implementation of cooperative projects, thereby supporting the development of Bazhong’s clean energy industry cluster and achieving coordinated improvements in ecological, social, and economic benefits.
Jia Fayang highly commended the company’s achievements in the green energy sector and outlined Bazhong’s economic and social development, clean energy resource endowments, and progress in improving the local business environment. He stated that the company possesses strong professional capabilities, efficient operational mechanisms, and extensive project development experience. Positioned as an ecological barrier in northeastern Sichuan, Bazhong is rich in wind, solar, hydropower, and energy storage resources, and is making every effort to strengthen its green and low-carbon industries while continuously enhancing its business environment. He expressed the hope that both sides would deepen strategic mutual trust and establish a long-term strategic partnership, accelerate the implementation of green energy cooperation projects, continuously expand the scope and level of collaboration, achieve complementary advantages and mutual benefits, and jointly contribute to a new stage of Sichuan’s green and low-carbon transformation and development.
