BJ ENERGY INTL Achieves Approval for 580 MW Wind Power Projects in Bijie, Guizhou

On June 24, six wind power projects of Beijing Energy International in Bijie, Guizhou Province received official approval. These include the 90 MW Muban Wind Power Project in Zhijin County, the 90 MW Xiaoniuchang Wind Power Project in Zhijin County, the 100 MW Nuochong Wind Power Project in Zhijin County, the 100 MW Baini Yujiaba Wind Power Project in Zhijin County, the 100 MW Guoba Wind Power Project in Qianxi City, and the 100 MW Xinqian Wind Power Project in Qianxi City. This represents another major breakthrough for the company in the new energy sector in Guizhou and marks a further expansion of the company's business footprint in the province.




The six approved projects are located in Qianxi City and Zhijin County of Bijie City, with a combined installed capacity of 580 MW. Upon commissioning, the projects are expected to generate approximately 1.157 billion kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving approximately 354,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 952,200 tons each year. The projects will further optimize the local energy mix, promote green regional economic development, and provide strong momentum for Guizhou’s efforts to achieve its carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
