BJ ENERGY INTL Registers 0.52MW Distributed PV Project at the High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University in Beijing’s Haidian District

On August 4, the 0.52MW distributed PV project of Beijing Energy International at the High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University in Haidian District, Beijing, successfully completed its project registration, marking the latest addition to the company’s growing portfolio of new energy applications in campus settings and injecting fresh clean energy momentum into the development of green and low-carbon school campuses. 




The project utilizes idle rooftop space on the school campus to install a distributed PV power generation system with a total installed capacity of 0.52MW. It adopts the “self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid” model. Once operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 590,000 kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 178 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 558 tons per year. This will effectively lower the campus’s conventional energy consumption and significantly cut its carbon footprint, delivering substantial ecological and energy-saving benefits.

The successful registration of this project further enriches the company’s new energy campus application matrix and sets a new benchmark for the green transformation of the primary and secondary education sector and the development of zero-carbon campuses in the capital region.
