Recently, Beijing Jingneng International Integrated Smart Energy Company (the “Company”) was recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) as a national-level specialized and sophisticated “Little Giant” enterprise, placing it among the highest echelon of China’s national program for cultivating high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This recognition marks another national-level honor for the Company in advancing specialization, refinement, distinctiveness and innovation. It also represents a milestone in the Company’s efforts to develop new quality productive forces through technological innovation and strengthen its service capabilities in the new energy sector.
In recent years, the Company has pursued digital and intelligent transformation, focusing on the new energy and energy storage sectors while continuously increasing investment in research and development to develop core technologies and products with strong competitive barriers and high added value. In energy storage integration services, the Company works upstream with suppliers of key components, including battery cells and thermal management systems, while serving three major downstream application scenarios: grid-side shared energy storage, energy storage supporting new energy projects, and commercial and industrial microgrids. By leveraging its integrated “equipment + platform + services” capabilities, the Company builds on its strengths and reinforces its competitive advantages, serving as a key link between upstream and downstream segments of the industrial chain. To date, the Company holds 45 invention patents, 26 utility model patents and four trademarks. It has also played an active role in drafting national and industry standards, further strengthening its independent innovation capabilities.
The Company has constructed and operated a series of high-quality projects, including the BBMG Fengshan Mine Ecological Restoration and Photovoltaic Power Generation Integration Project, the Shunyi China International Exhibition Center Low-Carbon Smart Energy Project, and the Rooftop Photovoltaic Project at Fengtai Railway Station. In areas such as mine ecological restoration, green transportation hubs and smart energy supply for industrial parks, the Company has delivered a series of benchmark demonstration projects and developed mature, replicable solutions and practical models for intelligent operations.
This recognition marks a new milestone and the beginning of another chapter in the Company’s development. Looking ahead to China’s 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030), the Company will take this recognition as a new foudation, maintain its focus on cutting-edge sectors and continue to foster an innovation-driven environment. It will deepen the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with integrated energy, energy storage and other fields, and expand into the demonstration and application of new energy technologies. The Company will strive to become a leading provider in China of operations and services for “AI + integrated smart energy”, contributing to the achievement of Beijing’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.
