On December 15, 2021, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International met with Liu Rong, Chief Financial Officer of China Life Investment Management Company in Beijing, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on comprehensive cooperation in new energy. Ji Shaojun, General Manager of Infrastructure Investment Department of China Life Investment Management Company, Du Longzhen, Deputy General Manager of Credit Evaluation Department, Li Dan, Deputy General Manager of Finance and Accounting Department, and Xia Fan, Investment Director of Infrastructure Investment Department; Liu Dongsheng, Huang Hui, Vice Presidents of Beijing Energy International, Yin Huifeng, General Manager of Financial Management Department and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.




During the meeting, the two sides fully exchanged views on market prospects, project development and strategic investment in new energy, and had a deep-dive session on future investment opportunities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area, overseas new energy business and market resource integration.

Zhang Ping extended a warm welcome to Liu Rong and her delegation and briefed the development of Beijing Energy International and its development plans at home and abroad. He said that China Life Investment Management Company had abundant resources in financial market and capital integration, and Beijing Energy International was embracing high-quality and rapid development as well as the window of opportunity of dual carbon goal. He said that both sides were highly aligned on business development and enjoyed huge potential in new energy investment cooperation. He hoped that both sides could make the most of their strengths and resource advantages, foster a long-term strategic partnership, and work hand in hand for common development.

Liu Rong introduced the past development of China Life Investment Management Company and its new energy investment plan. She said that new energy was a key area in the country’s future development plan. She said that as a red-chip company listed in Hong Kong, Beijing Energy International had a flexible mechanism and a leading market position, as evidenced by its rapid development and brilliant record in new energy over the past two years. In view of this, she expected that both sides could fully exploit their respective advantages, deepen cooperation and become strategic partners for mutual benefit.
