On April 14, Beijing Energy International won the bid for the 1.2 MW distributed photovoltaic project of Beijing Hualian Printing. This project represents a benchmark distributed PV project implemented by Beijing Energy International in Beijing’s high-end printing manufacturing and cultural & publishing sector. It also marks another important achievement by the company in supporting the low-carbon transition of the capital’s real economy with green energy, fulfilling the state-owned enterprise responsibility of the Beijing Energy Holding to “serve the capital city, and contributing to high-quality development in the new era.

The project is located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, with an installed capacity of 1.2 MW, and adopts the “self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid” model. It is expected to generate approximately 1.3 million kWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 394 tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1,146 tonnes. The project will further promote Beijing’s energy transition and economic development, injecting strong momentum into the city’s high-quality growth.
