BJ ENERGY INTL’s Nandagang 80MW Wind Power Project in Huanghua, Cangzhou, Hebei Achieves Full-Capacity Grid Connection
Time:2026-04-17

On April 17, the 12th wind turbine of the Nandagang 80MW wind power project in Huanghua City, Cangzhou, Hebei Province, developed by Beijing Energy International, was successfully connected to the grid, marking the project’s achievement of full-capacity grid connection.

Located in the Nandagang Industrial Park of Huanghua City, the project has a total installed capacity of 79.95MW. It includes the construction of a 110kV booster station and a 12MW/24MWh energy storage system, forming an efficient “wind power + energy storage” complementary green energy system. After commissioning, the project is expected to generate an average annual electricity output of 212 million kWh, save nearly 60,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 170,000 tons, delivering significant economic, environmental, and social benefits.

During the construction period, the project management and construction team faced multiple challenges, including challenging foundation works, difficult construction dewatering, high requirements for foundation waterproofing, complicated coordination for railway crossings of transmission lines, and complex steel-concrete hybrid tower erection technology. Through scientifically formulated construction plans, strengthened technical tackling, and refined process management, the team fully advanced construction work and successfully achieved full-capacity grid connection as scheduled.

The successful full-capacity commissioning of the project is an important achievement of Beijing Energy International in deeply integrating into the coordinated development of the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region and promoting regional energy transformation. It further optimizes the regional energy structure and supports Cangzhou City and the Nandagang Industrial Park in accelerating the development of a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient modern energy system, injecting strong momentum into local green and high-quality development.
