On July 2, the photovoltaic component of Beijing Energy International’s Beijing Fangshan Welion Integrated Energy Project successfully completed project filing, marking a significant milestone in the development of the integrated energy services project for the Welion New Energy Industrial Park.

The photovoltaic project is a key component of the integrated energy services project at the Beijing Welion New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Welion New Energy”) Industrial Park and the core green power supply module supporting the solid-state battery production base. Located at Welion New Energy’s production base in Doudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, the project has a total installed capacity of 2.6 MW and adopts a “self-consumption with surplus electricity fed into the grid” model. Upon commissioning, it is expected to generate approximately 2.65 million kWh of clean electricity annually, saving approximately 19,700 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 53,100 tons each year.
Upon completion, the project will operate in synergy with the park’s heating and cooling energy station and smart energy management platform through a complementary multi-energy system, while supporting the simultaneous upgrading and optimization of the park’s utility plant systems. It will help build high-efficiency utility plant facilities featuring green, energy-efficient and intelligent operation, comprehensively reducing the park’s energy costs and carbon emissions, enhancing its energy self-sufficiency and green development performance, and supporting Welion New Energy in developing a high-standard green factory.
The successful completion of the project filing marks another important step for Beijing Energy International in deepening its presence in integrated energy services for industrial parks and expanding new energy application scenarios. Going forward, the company will continue to optimize its integrated energy services for industrial parks and provide replicable and scalable integrated energy solutions to support the green and low-carbon transformation of high-end manufacturing parks.
