On July 24, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Tian Yue, President of the China Joint Venture of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), and his delegation. The two sides held discussions on deepening cooperation in the new energy sector.

During the meeting, both parties presented an overview of their respective business portfolios and strategic plans. They agreed that, in recent years, both companies have maintained a strong focus on the clean energy sector and share highly aligned philosophies on low-carbon development. With a solid foundation for cooperation, strong business complementarity, and broad prospects for collaboration, the two sides will take this meeting as an opportunity to innovate cooperation models, fully leverage their respective strengths, deepen practical cooperation in key areas such as the development and acquisition of new energy projects, accelerate the implementation of cooperation initiatives, and work hand in hand toward mutual benefit.
The meeting was also attended by Fu Yanyan, Director for China Business Department of SEC, Zhu Lianqing, Senior Investment and Financing Manager of SEC; Wu Chaoke, Vice President of Beijing Energy International; Zhang Pengyuan, General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department; and other relevant personnel.
