BJ ENERGY INT’ 2.64 MW Distributed PV Project at BAIC Technician Institute in Beijing E-Town Completes Record Filing

On July 27, Beijing Energy International’s 2.64 MW distributed photovoltaic (PV) project at BAIC Technician Institute (BATI) in Beijing E-Town successfully completed the record-filing process, marking another major milestone in the company’s strategic deployment of green campus projects and providing solid clean energy support for the development of low-carbon campuses. 




The project is located on the rooftops of BATI at No. 11 Yuying Street, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town). Utilizing the campus’s idle rooftop resources, the project will install a distributed PV generation system with a total installed capacity of 2.64 MW, operating under the “self-generation for self-use, with surplus electricity fed into the grid” model. Upon commissioning, the project is expected to generate approximately 2.83 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to saving approximately 854 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 2,675 tons each year. It will effectively reduce the campus’s conventional energy consumption and significantly lower its carbon emissions, delivering substantial environmental and energy-saving benefits.

The completion of the record filing marks another important achievement for the company in deepening its presence in the campus new energy sector and expanding the application scenarios of distributed energy. Closely aligned with the development needs of green campuses and China’s dual-carbon goals, the project further enriches the company’s new energy application portfolio and provides an exemplary model for clean energy retrofits and the development of zero-carbon campuses across educational institutions in the region.
