BJ ENERGY INTL Holds Talks with Shenzhen Energy Corporation

On September 11, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Shenzhen, where they met with Li Zhuoge, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shenzhen Energy Corporation (SEC). The two sides held talks on cooperation in overseas projects. 




At the meeting, both sides gave presentations on their respective domestic business layouts, efforts to deepen their presence in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and overseas business development. They held in-depth discussions on the development of new energy projects in the Greater Bay Area and across China, investment, construction, and operation, as well as coordinated expansion of overseas new energy projects. They also exchanged views on giving full play to their respective resource endowments, industrial foundations, and market strengths, opening up pathways for interconnected development among the domestic market, the Greater Bay Area, and overseas markets, and expanding multi-level and multi-dimensional cooperation.

Both sides agreed that they share highly compatible development philosophies in the green energy sector, boast strong business complementarity, and have a solid foundation for cooperation, with broad prospects for collaboration in the domestic market, the development of the Greater Bay Area, and overseas business. Both sides stated that the next step will be to further strengthen communication and coordination, build on their respective comprehensive strengths in domestic resource reserves, the Greater Bay Area’s location and market advantages, overseas market channels, professional and technical capabilities, and project operation and management, actively tap into opportunities for collaborative projects in China and the Greater Bay Area, jointly explore opportunities for overseas project cooperation, make concerted efforts in both domestic and international markets, and work together to support the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, achieving mutually beneficial outcomes and coordinated development.

Attendees from SEC included Yuan Dong, Deputy General Manager of the Investment and Development Department; Xu Qing, Deputy General Manager of the Strategy and Operations Management Department; Zhang Lei, Deputy Director of the Treasury Management Center; and Long Jiang, General Manager of the Supply Chain Management Department. Attendees from Beijing Energy International included Wu Chaoke, Vice President; Zhang Pengyuan, General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department; Xue Manyu, General Manager of the South China Branch; and other relevant personnel.
