On July 28, Zhang Ping, Executive Director and President of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Zhang Xiujie, Secretary of the CPC Yangxi County Committee of Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, and her delegation. The two sides held discussions on ensuring the stable operation of the Yangjiang Yangxi Natural Gas Combined Cooling, Heating and Power (CCHP) Project, further developing the market, and continuing to deepen integrated energy services for the industrial park. 

During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth exchanges on their cooperation needs in such areas as the current energy supply and operational status of the CCHP Project, follow-up market development, and the construction of supporting green and low-carbon facilities. They agreed that the Yangxi Industrial Park, with its concentration of industrial enterprises, enjoys strong and growing energy demand and a solid foundation for development. The company’s clean energy business portfolio is highly aligned with Yangxi’s green and low-carbon development strategy. The successful commissioning and operation of the project have laid a solid foundation for further long-term cooperation between the two sides, and there remains broad potential for the future development of the integrated energy market.

Going forward, the two sides will establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism to jointly advance key initiatives, including the expansion of the integrated energy market within the industrial park, ecological and environmental improvement, and policy coordination. By ensuring a stable supply of clean energy, they will support the transformation and upgrading of the Yangxi Industrial Park and achieve complementary strengths, coordinated development, and mutually beneficial outcomes between the local government and enterprises.

The meeting was also attended by Feng Qinghua, Executive Deputy County Mayor of the Yangxi County Government; Wang Zhentao, Director of the General Office of the CPC Yangxi County Committee; Lu Jinlan, Director of the Commerce Bureau; Wang Liuhu, Vice President of Beijing Energy International; Tao Wei, General Counsel; Wang Yaokun, General Manager of Beijing Energy International (Yangxi) Integrated Energy Company and Chairman of Gujing Energy; and other relevant personnel.
