Hanshou Photovoltaic Power Station in Hunan

The Hanshou Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Hanshou County, Changde City, Hunan Province, with an installed capacity of 120 MW. It comprises Hanshou’s Haohui 40MW Photovoltaic Power Station and Zhonghui 80MW Photovoltaic Power Station, covering a total area of 3,209 mu (around 214 hectares). The land types are mainly dominated by pits and ponds, shoals and swamps. The Hanshou Photovoltaic Power Station can provide 112 million kWh of green power for the local power grid every year, equivalent to saving 36,000 tons of coal resources and reducing 111,700 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. It has greatly protected the local ecological environment and well implemented the concept of green development.

Longhua Photovoltaic Power Station in Chaling, Hunan Province

The Longhua Photovoltaic Power Station is located on the rooftop of the standardized factory buildings of three breeding bases including Shilichong and Dongchong of Longhua Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. in Chaling County. The concrete roofs of the factory building are used to mount photovoltaic modules which occupy an area of about 120,000 square meters, with a planned installed capacity of 12MW.

The grid-connected voltage level of the station is 380V, and the generated electricity is primarily consumed by the factory of Longhua Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. The project can supply electricity for its self-use, with the surplus connecting to the grid.

The average annual effective power generation utilization hour is 955, meaning that it can produce about 9 million kWh of green energy annually, equivalent to saving 2,745 tons of coal resources and reducing 7,488 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Additionally, it can also reduce a large amount of ash and soot emissions every year, which has obvious energy-saving, environmental-protection and social benefits and plays a very positive role in improving the atmospheric environment.
