Qianhai Distributed Photovoltaic Power Station in Shenzhen

Qianhai Distributed Photovoltaic Power Station is located in the Bonded Port Area of Qianhai, Shenzhen. Its total installed capacity is 2.8MW and the installed area is about 140,000 square meters. It is installed on the rooftops of various large warehouses in the port area, with average annual utilization hours of about 1,034 and an average annual power generation of about 3 million kWh, which can save 930 tons of standard coal and reduce about 2,490 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The implementation of this project marks the birth of China’s first green low-carbon bonded port area in Qianhai. Relying on the unique advantages of the close cooperation between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong SAR, the project will also adopt the most advanced photovoltaic rooftop power station technology and smart terminal solutions at home and abroad, and build a benchmark new energy application research base, green financial trading platform and excellent demonstration area.

Pomian Photovoltaic Power Station in Yanjiang, Guangdong Province

The Pomian Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Heshui Town and Pomian Town, Yangchun City, Guangdong Province, about 16 kilometers away from the urban area. This project is a key poverty alleviation project in the province. It aims to help 2,907 households and the poverty alleviation standard is over 3,000 yuan per household per year. The project company pays 8.721 million yuan (with a duration of 20 years) to the city every year.

The total area of this power station is 1,400 mu (around 93 hectares), and the installed capacity is 75MW. It is an agrophotovoltaic project. At present, the station base has contracted a total of 1,300 mu (around 87 hectares) of land under the solar panels, which is planted with ginger, pepper and yam crops, providing jobs for nearby villagers to work in the field and helping boost their income. The project contributes to the country’s efforts in consolidating the result of poverty alleviation and the attainment of the major strategic goal of rural revitalization at an early date.

Heyuan Photovoltaic Power Station in Guangdong Province

The Heyuan Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Dongyuan County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, with an installed capacity of 40 MW. It is the first centralized ground photovoltaic power station in Heyuan, Guangdong. The total area of the project is about 1,000 mu (around 67 hectares), and the annual power generation of the power station is about 41.02 million kWh, which can save 12,500 tons of standard coal, reduce about 41,000 tons of carbon dioxide, about 317 tons of sulfur dioxide and 150 tons of nitrogen oxides, with remarkable environmental benefits.

Yangjiang Phase I Photovoltaic Power Station in Guangdong Province

The Yangjiang Phase I Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Mashui Town and Tanshui Town, Yangchun City, Guangdong Province, about 16 kilometers away from the urban area. It is a key poverty alleviation project in the province. It aims to help 2,908 households and the poverty alleviation standard is over 3,000 yuan per household per year, and the annual poverty alleviation fund is 8.724 million yuan. The project contributes to the country’s efforts in consolidating the result of poverty alleviation and the attainment of the major strategic goal of rural revitalization at an early date.

The total area of the power station is 1,800 mu (around 120 hectares), and the installed capacity is 75MW. The annual utilization hour of the power station is 1,196, which can provide 89.7 million kWh of green power every year, saving 29,600 tons of standard coal and reducing 76,200 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year. It delivers both economic and social benefits through producing green power, saving energy and cutting emissions, thus is beneficial for realizing the dual carbon goals.
