New Energy Projects
Gonghe Photovoltaic Power Station in Qinghai

The Gonghe Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Gonghe County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, with an installed capacity of 200 MW. It is located on a semi-degraded grassland with temperate continental desert climate, featuring drought and very limited precipitation. All along, the power station has been actively practicing the concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” through generating solar power to light up the green future. The photovoltaic area covers a total area of 2.35 square kilometers, the elevation is about 2,900 meters, the average annual power generation of the power station is 317,997,200 kWh, and 97,148 tons of standard coal can be saved every year, which plays a great role in rationally utilizing energy and controlling air pollution. It can reduce evaporation and conserve water resources, and the photovoltaic area has gradually been transformed from a desert semi-degraded grassland before the project was up and running to a green grassland.

Ledu Zhixing Wind Farm in Qinghai Province

The Ledu Zhixing Wind Farm, located in Ledu District, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is the first decentralized wind farm in Haidong City.

Adhering to the concept of openness, greenness and development, Beijing Energy International is committed to becoming a first-class international clean energy provider, green investor and operator, actively responds to the national dual carbon goal and develops new energy projects in northwest China, contributing to green development of the country and society.

The wind farm covers a total land area of 15.67 mu (around 1 hectare), and 11 wind turbines produced by Haizhuang Wind Power Co., Ltd. of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation are installed, with a total installed capacity of 40MW and a total investment of 308 million yuan. The equivalent full-load hours per year are 2,350 hours, which means that the wind farm can produce 94 million kWh of green electricity per year, equivalent to saving 29,000 tons of standard coal and reducing 78,200 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which greatly protects the ecological environment and well practices the national dual carbon goal and green development concept.
